Hello Backers!

I have received the shipment of cryptids and will be working this weekend to package them up for you :) The limited edition novellas are still on their way to me and so those packages will be shipped once I get them, but I am hoping that will be next week (depending on holiday shipping and global pandemics, as usual). 

As such, I will be locking addresses tomorrow so please make sure your address is up to date in Backerkit!

PDF, MOBI, and EPUB Distribution fixed!

Hello Backers!

Thank you for your patience! I have fixed the epub, mobi, and pdf distribution, so you should be getting those in your email very shortly (if not already). Apologies if it shows up as 3 emails; I was mistaken in that it would just send one distribution and that was apparently not the case. 

Please let me know by Wednesday if you have not received all 3 and we'll work to get them to you.

The print books and limited edition novellas will be going out in the next couple weeks as well, as long as the distributors get them to me in a decent amount of time.

WOOOOOHOOOOOOO!!! eBooks and Proof Copies are here! (important, pls read ty)

Hello Backers!

I am thrilled to announce that today we have finished the ebook and I received my proof copy of the hardcopy book. YAY!!! 

So what does that mean now?

Well, first that means I'm going to be sending you your ebook copies on Monday (November 1). I'll start with a test group that Backerkit selects first, and then, if all goes well, I'll send them to the rest of you. I'm waiting until Monday to make sure you all have enough time to double check your emails in Backerkit.

VERY IMPORTANT: If you do not receive (via email) the ebook copy by Saturday November 6 please message me your email address and I will email it to you.

Next, I'm going to approve the proof copy on KDP (after some minor cover changes) and order hardcopies of the book to mail to you. Unfortunately Amazon/KDP is terrible and won't let me order physical copies of the book without setting it live for sale like Createspace used to. Therefore, I want to make sure you get the ebook at least before it goes up for sale. For future anthologies, I'm going to use a different printer because KDP has become less and less user (and author!) friendly over the years. 

I did use a different printer for the novella, and I am still waiting on my proof copy for that. Unfortunately, as with everything, shipping times are abysmal right now, so I'm just going to have to wait on the graces of the shipping company to get it. Once I get that and it looks good, I'll order those copies as well. 

My goal is to get them all shipped out ASAP as soon as I get the copies and before the holiday rush. Thank you all so much for your patience and your support. I truly appreciate each and every one of you. <3

Delays in Production and Getting the Files Ready for Printing :(

Hello Backers!

This year has been hard for many of us, as will be no surprise to anyone. As such, there will likely be a delay in getting this book to you. The delays are due to issues with the cover and novella, but I have also heard that getting books printed is taking longer due to the pandemic and the book printing process. The original date planned for shipping has passed, and as the book is not yet ready, I have not locked shipping addresses yet in case you need to change your address before it is ready to go. Once I have received the proof of the book, I will be locking addresses at that point so I will keep you posted. 

Apologies for the delays and for getting your hopes up with the previous post.

Hello Backers!

Thank you so much for your patience over the past couple months. As should be a surprise to no one, this year has been hard for me as it's been hard for everyone. Nevertheless, I have persisted and I am delighted to announce that both the book and the novella are almost ready for printing. The ebooks will be finished first, obviously, and so if I can get Backerkit to do it, I'll be emailing those out first to y'all as I send the print proofs to the printers to get those made. As a reminder, the ebooks I am sending out will be DRM free and in .pdf, .epub, and .mobi formats so you should be able to read them on any device. Backerkit sometimes errors on sending them, however, so keep an eye out for the announcement that they are sent so you can let me know if you don't receive yours. 

Additionally, if your shipping information has changed, or if it will change before September, please update your profile in Backerkit to ensure that if you opted for a print copy or the novella, you will receive it in a timely manner. You can do so by using your original survey email, so please refer to that and let me know if you have any problems. :) 

This has been a journey during interesting times, and I really appreciate all of your support and encouragement over the past several months. Sometimes being a solo publisher it's hard to keep the eye on the prize because there are so many moving parts, but my excitement at sharing these stories with you has really kept me going. I can't wait for you to read them.
